The Wynyard Foreshore Market in on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month, along East Wynyard Foreshore. The market runs between 8am-2pm.

Frequently asked questions

Can I just turn up on the day to have a stall?

No. COVID restrictions mean all stalls must be pre-booked through the Market Coordinator.

What time do I set up if I have a site booked?

Stallholders must not arrive on-site before 6am on market day. All sites should be set up ready to trade by 8am.

How much does a site cost?

Casual unpowered sites are $23. Sites can currently only be booked one week in advance due to COVID restrictions.

What if I need power to my site?

Powered sites are limited. Please speak with Market Coordinator if you require power.

I’ve booked a site – do I need to complete a registration form?

If it’s your first market booking, please complete the Stallholder Registration Form below and take it with you to the market for the Coordinator to collect, along with your site fee. This form only needs to be completed once. The Market Coordinator will keep on file for any future bookings.

Roadside vendor/street stall permits

Individuals or organisations wishing to use a street stall to conduct a raffle, cake stall or button day within the Waratah-Wynyard municipality will need a permit to do so.

The initial step in seeking a permit is to complete and lodge a Stall Permit Application.

Where any stall activity includes selling food, a Notification, Registration or Renewal of a Food Business form is also required. 

The relevant permit application instructions and Food Business form and are provided below.

The completed forms should be lodged at the Council office at least 5 working days prior to the proposed permit date.
