Council has received safety concerns around the current Inglis Street, Church Street and Park Street junction arrangement. In response to this Council sought the advice of independent traffic engineers to improve safety in this location.

The small ‘Tyre Park ‘playground in Waratah on Smith Street has been enjoyed for many years and has sadly reached the end of its life.
Council advises that vegetation work will be undertaken throughout the municpality in June.
Please be advised that works will commence to replace the Bassets Road Bridge in Calder (near the West Calder Road intersection) on Monday 30 May 2022, weather permitting. There may be slight delays as traffic will by-pass the old structure until the new bridge has been installed.
Council advises that there will be maintenance occurring at Rotary Park, Wynyard on Tuesday 31 May 2022, weather permitting. Small sections of the playground will be closed throughout the day. Thank you for your understanding.
